Spodumene Roasting and Acidification System

Project Overview

Sunlike provided modular engineering services for the equipment and steel structures of a spodumene roasting and acidification project in Pohang, South Korea. Based on the project's technical requirements and overall process layout, our scope included the engineering, fabrication, assembly, and installation of process equipment, supporting steel structures, and modular units.

The project adopted a modular design and fabrication approach, integrating equipment, steel structures, and related components into prefabricated modules. This approach increased the level of off-site fabrication and assembly, reduced on-site construction work, and improved installation efficiency and overall delivery quality.

Considering the operating conditions of the spodumene roasting and acidification process, particular attention was given to high-temperature conditions, corrosion resistance, structural loads, and long-term operational reliability during equipment and structural design and fabrication.
